Admiral Thorn Ashrow was born in Haven, Cyrmrija. Her mother an elf ran a brothel (and still does) and her father was a dwarven customer, hence the name. Sent to sea by her mother who thought it would be better than life in a brothel!
She has been married twice, one husband has died of old age the other got washed over board never to be seen again. Thorn has no intention of remarrying. She left the Dragons after she disagreed with the commands decision to leave an allied nation to the fate of the Empire. This decision was also helped by being rescued from a mugging by some heroic Harts. They though she was one of them due to her hat. Her pride and joy in this was that she never spilt a drop of beer while being mugged. She has berthed et a number of Harts ports since but has since decided that the best way to serve the guild is to have her fleet up and mobile so that they can travel at a moments notice and have a guild house presence on water.
Taken on board as First Mate of the Good Ship Totty she was them promoted to Captain of the Pride of the Totty. When Admiral Ali-ra was slain she obtained command of the Totty Fleet. All ships now have a Alchemists lab on board and Thorn insists that if you can brew on board ship, you can brew anywhere. She originally joined the guild and discovered that running the front desk was very similar to running a ship, but without the rope burns. Writing in capital letters is a must. After being promoted to head of desk she was given a Guild Master Position after the Lady Lilith stepped down to a well deserved retirement.
Thorn Ashrow will not answer to the title Mistress, as she has never knowingly been one. Also she is often quoted as being “ shocked and amazed / concerned / disappointed ” for any quotes in the Erdreja Press.
